Arriving alongside the final stable release of Ubuntu 15.10 Wily Werewolf is the rest of the pack.
I installed the latest Ubuntu today, 15.04. Spotify has stopped working. Version of the Spotify client, available for download on this. Ubuntu Gnome 15.10. In this article, we shall show you how to quickly install Spotify in Ubuntu(18.04, 16.04) and the way to download Spotify music to Ubuntu for offline enjoying. I had Ubuntu working fine on my Ubuntu 15.04 system and then 15.10 and then two weeks ago it just stopped working! When I double click on the icon Spotify comes up for about two seconds and then duisappears. I've tried everything that I could think of the past two weeks and nothing works. Download Ubuntu Desktop Ubuntu 20.04.1 LTS. Download the latest LTS version of Ubuntu, for desktop PCs and laptops. Yep, downloads for Ubuntu’s colorful array of community flavors, including perennially popular Ubuntu MATE and Ubuntu GNOME, are now live.
Want to find out what’s new in each release? Of course you do, and we’re here to help.
Kubuntu 15.10
Kubuntu 15.10 ships with the new Plasma 5.4 desktop environment as default.
This brings improved support for high DPI monitors, a new application dashboard add-on and auto-completion in KRunner.
The addition of more than 1,400 New icons also help to give this release a refreshed look and feel.
KDE Applications 15.08 ups the ante on the productivity side with new versions of staple applications, like the Dolphin file manager, based on KDE Frameworks 5.
Ubuntu GNOME 15.10
For Wily Ubuntu GNOME is shipping with the bulk of the GNOME 3.16 stack, including several new core apps.
GNOME Photos supplants Shotwell as the default photo manager, while GNOME Music takes centre stage from Rhythmbox.
A new ‘getting started’ guide runs on first login to help users get acquainted with the GNOME way of doing things; the Ubuntu Software Centre is gifted Adwaita Dark theme support; and the Bluetooth stack has been updated to BlueZ 5.
It might not be sporting the very latest version of GNOME but the changes and improvements on offer are still considerable.
Lubuntu 15.10
Lubuntu 15.10 is another highly minor bug fix release.
The lightweight LXDE-based distro offers newer versions of core LXDE components, some new icons and artwork touch-ups, but no features.
As we noted a few months previous, Lubuntu 15.10 retires the ‘lubuntu extra sessions’ package from the default install. It is now an optional extra than can be installed manually through the Lubuntu Software Centre.
Ubuntu Kylin 15.10
Ubuntu’s chinese language counterpart is also taking part in the release day melee.
The Kylin Software Centre has been updated to v1.3.6. It adds progress bars for installation progress and other general appearance tweaks. The Youker-assistant app and the China Weather indicator have also been updated. Better music app than spotify app.
Xubuntu 15.10
Like Lubuntu Xubuntu 15.10 features a modest set of changes.

LibreOffce 5.0.2 is also included.
Ubuntu MATE 15.10
Ubuntu MATE 15.10 ships with the MATE Desktop 1.10 which, among plenty of other things, offers improved multi-monitor support and a new audio mixer library.
New apps and utilities include a welcome screen tool offering tips and app suggestions and a tool for switching between GPUs on NVIDIA Prime capable hardware.
MATE Tweak has been ported to Python 3, adds new netbook panel layouts, and options, and improves window manager switching.

Developer experience for Ubuntu Core and the Internet of Things
Ubuntu Core is a tiny rendition of Ubuntu that uses a transactional update and rollback system for apps and the OS itself. This release of Ubuntu includes the latest version of Snapcraft, the developer tool that makes it easy to create a “snap” for Ubuntu Core.
Snapcraft is a one-stop tool to make packages of existing applications, or snaps, from source or classic Ubuntu packages. Learn more about Ubuntu Core and Snapcraft at https://developer.ubuntu.com/en/snappy/.
For ‘makers’, Ubuntu Make now has support for more platforms – now 20 versus 14 in 15.04. Ubuntu Make provides essential tools which are always fresh from the upstream providers, and a thorough testing framework so developers can be assured of a smooth experience. More information is available at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-make.
On the desktop
Ubuntu has been pre-installed on millions of PCs worldwide and remains one of the world’s most popular, easy-to-use and reliable operating systems available today. Ubuntu is the high-end developer platform of choice, with Nvidia, Dell and other companies launching workstations for machine learning, visualisation and general purpose development on Ubuntu. The Dell XPS 13 and Precision M800 mobile workstation both demonstrate the focus Canonical, and its partners, have on bringing next-generation tools to Ubuntu developers.
In 15.10, Unity8 is demonstrating Canonical’s convergence vision as a tech preview. Users can log into a Unity8 session on the desktop, experience the new features, and cleanly revert to the default Unity7 experience. The feature set of Unity8 now includes the important windowed mode for Desktop users, which allows users to multi-task between multiple running apps. Mobile apps such as the Music player and the Deko email client have added support to cover small form-factor devices and large screen Desktops. Ubuntu 15.10 also has improved support for developers of traditional apps that want to bring these apps into Unity8.
